This patch was designed at the behest or on the behalf of a great many fierce ladies, all of whom happened to be of diminutive stature. Lest I upset them and incur their tiny wrath, I relented, and now I present to you this piece. It is of the color of parchment, sewn round with a dark brown thread, and with the same dark brown upon its brow, and a gentle violet below.
